The Ocularist is located at plot 111 F close, 3rd avenue, beside Havannah hotel and suites, Gowon Estate, Egbeda, Lagos.
We are the first indigenous ophthalmic practice specialized in ocularistry in Nigeria. We fabricate ocular prosthesis (custom made artificial eyes) for patients who have lost their eye due to surgery, eye disease or trauma. Our artificial eye gives a near natural look to restore the confidence of monocular patients.
Victor is a Doctor of Optometry who has been practising for almost twenty years. He obtained his first degree (O.D) from the prestigious Imo State University, Owerri. He then proceeded to Lions Aravind Institute of Community Ophthalmology (Aravind Eye Hospital), Madurai, India to obtain a certificate of training in ocularistry in 2011. He has since then fitted over 100 customised ocular prosthesis.. He is happily married with children.
